This is one of our most popular trips as it provides spectacular sightseeing, enhancing your fishing experience. You will cover miles of remote water, most of which is only accessible by boat choose from the Eagle, Colorado, or Roaring Fork Rivers.

Private Water Trips

Amazing fishing and scenery, with the best views of the Gore Range in the valley?

Our private water is located north of Vail near Piney Lake. With numerous lakes, several miles of creek systems, its home to lots of large cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and cutbows. Also home to a herd of moose that stop by to say Hi on a daily basis. We have a cabin on site with a full kitchen, this trip works great as a Cast and Taste trip.

Private Water rod fees are in addition to our standard trip pricing and are per person.  From  $65 to $90

Cast and Taste Trip

Cast and Taste Trip

This trip is best suited for couples or groups. Enjoy a day or evening of fly fishing followed by a wine tasting and catered assortment of cheese and fruit prepared streamside. The trip takes place on private ponds with daily moose sightings, or remote stretches of rivers to ensure privacy. Lunch or dinner available for an additional fee.

This trip is offered 7 days a week with a minimum of 2 people.

Kids Day Fly Fishing Adventure Camp

We are proud to be Vail and Beaver Creeks most kid friendly fly fishing shop! Children attending our camp will enjoy a day full of exploring the mountains, wildlife viewings and fly fishing. The camp includes a fly rod, reel, fly box, flies and instructional video as a gift to your child. A snack is provided for an additional fee, lunch can be substituted at your request. A minimum of 2 children is required. Ages 6-12.

Experience the Rocky Mountains with an overnight fly fishing float trip. Float the famous Colorado River through remote water not accessible by foot. After the float kick back and relax or fish with your guide while our chef prepares gourmet streamside meals. We set up camp at one of the many breathtaking locations we have to offer. Whether you are looking to fly fish in an exotic beach paradise or a breathtaking Alaskan river. We guide and host trips all over the world. We fish for the saltwater slam (tarpon, permit, bonefish, snook) in Belize, and the Florida Keys. We steelhead all over the northwest on famous rivers in Alaska, Idaho, California, Oregon, and Washington. We musky and pike fish in high alpine reservoirs, and of course trout fish everywhere in the Western US specializing in Montana and Alaska.
