Follow historic mining trails through the scenic Rocky Mountains enjoy breathtaking views. Choose from every ability level. Visit historic mining sites and an 1887 mining town. We stop along the way so be sure to bring a camera, awesome views!

Tours include a Professional Guide, safety video, ATV, helmet, and operational and safety instruction.

Our guides are qualified professionals that have a love of the outdoors, and are dedicated to make your ATV or Crew TOUR fun! Guides will adjust to your riding ability, each trip is individualized. To insure safety we accommodate 4 people at a time. Minimum age for driving our ATV’s is 16 and all machines are single riders.

Remote Overnight Camp/ATV Tour $249

Looking for a thrill? Start out with a 2 hour ATV Tour to a ghost town from 1884-1905. Pick your camping spot in the meadow or high above at the mining site. Many claim to hear Tommy-knockers in this mine at night. You are now on your own, our guides leave to explore the beauty and history of the area.

Our guides return the next AM to take you on another thrilling ride along our trail system. This is a very popular adventure so reserve your spot.

 

CREW an All-Terrain Vehicle

Crew Tours means the whole family can experience it!

A Crew is similar to a Jeep but combines the agility and fun of an ATV. A CREW can go on all of our trails.

Now the whole family can experience the adventure of the Rocky Mountain back country.

Our professional guide is driving so you can enjoy the scenery and mountains in comfort.

Trails:

Red Elephant Trail

Be sure to bring your camera Red Elephant Trail is a beautiful trail with views of several mountains in the Continental Divide. Red Elephant trail takes you over 10,000 feet. View aspen meadows and the largest herd birthing habitat of Big Horn Sheep in the USA.

Silver Creek Trail

This trail was traveled by miners in early 1884. The trail takes us up to Silver Creek Spring Ghost Town and a beautiful flower meadow.

Camping at our Clear Creek Facility

Tent camping available for people that want a total mountain adventure. We have a variety of tent sites along Clear Creek. There is a large open fire pit to tell stories around and a river to enjoy. Fishermen bring your fly rod and fishing license. Our camping is offered in conjunction with any activity or combination trip.

Sure Shot Rafting/Camp Trip $44 adults $30 children 12 and under

Great overnight experience for kids! Choose your campsite, relax, enjoy the outdoor beauty, take a hike, or just hang around a campfire. The next morning get ready for the Sure Shot rafting trip. This is our most popular trip. This combination can be upgraded to a Blast intermediate raft trip for an additional $10.
Minimum weight for a beginner rafting trip is 50 pounds.

Ultimo Overnight Trip $97

This is our Full Day Ultimo rafting trip and adds camping to it. The camping can be added to either the day before trip or the day of.
Minimum 4 people.

ABC Blast Rafting Trip Camp 2 Hour ATV Tour $169

Exciting, thrilling, whitewater rafting begins your adventure, then relax around the campfire reliving the day. The next day discover nature as you never have before, atop an ATV.

2 Hour ATV Tour Remote Camp $249

If you are a true thrill seeker this trip is for you. First take a 2 hour ATV Tour up to Silver Creek a ghost town of 1884-1905. Select your camping spot either in the meadow or high above at the mine site. Many have heard Tommy knockers at night. Our guides leave and you are on your own to explore the history and beauty of the area. Guides return the next morning and take you on another thrilling part of our trail system. Blast Raft Trip Camp Ultimo $185

age requirement 16
This trip includes 2 lunches, 1 breakfast, and 1 dinner. All meals are prepared campsite or along the river by your guide. Enjoy the campfire stories about the day rafting and relax, you will need your energy for the consistent white water rapids that await you in the morning.

What to Bring:
Camp clothes and shoes, swimwear, personal toiletries, sunscreen, insect repellent with Deet, hat, flashlight, sunglasses and a  camera. On all camping trips you provide your own tents and sleeping bags, we can provide rental camping gear with an advanced notice.

Hikers

Are you looking for a leisure walk or are you looking for a more advanced hike? We have scenic hikes from moderate to advanced trails. What you might expect to see along one of our hikes. Mine sites, wildlife sightings, grave yards and awesome views. Your professional guide will share their knowledge of the local history, minerals, animal life, and the vegetation.

BLT Trail
Easy
5 miles

The sounds of Clear Creek flowing and the trees along the creek bank make this trail like an escape from civilization. Great for the family, this trail has a minimal amount of climbing on a forested trail. Ascend 900 feet starting at 9800 feet.

Chief Mountain Trail
Easy
2 miles

Pass through spruce and fir forest and then reach rocky talus. The last stretch of this trail has an overlook of Mt Evans, Mt Goliath, Rogers Peak, and Rosalie Peak. Breath taking views Ascend 910 feet starting at 10800 feet.

Silver Creek Wagon Trail

This is a mostly easy scenic walking trail with a few technical spots. The views are incredible. We will see below the Alvarado Cemetery and explore the remains of Silver Creek Town Site. We will ascend/descend 800 feet starting at an altitude of 8300 feet.

Pavillion Point

In 1916 construction started on the beautiful summer resort of Pavillion Point. Only a few remains are left. This trail is very scenic and has beautiful aspen groves. We will ascend 800 feet starting at an altitude of 9800 feet.

Silver Dollar Lake Trail
Intermediate
3 miles

This trail is occasionally steep and challenging as it weaves above timberline. Two lakes the Naylor Lake and Silver Dollar lake is our destination. We ascend 1000 feet starting at 11,200. Snow remains on this trail until late July.
